...when I in awesome wonder???
We sang this tonight and I was reminded of a thought I had months ago.
My wonder is far from awesome. Pretty feeble, actually. Surely what the writer meant was awestruck wonder, which is quite a different thing! Should we lobby for a change?
Surely, as a wonder, it is inexplicable. Therefore, as no other can explain their sense of it to others, others are going to feel let down, and our own personal experiences feel somewhat left out because we are unable to describe that "sense" that we have shared with others, but can't quite explain.
" Birth and re-birth are an individual's conceptions. How do we explain the same thing with an individual mind?"
Check the definition of Awesome and I think you will understand that the writet [or perhaps the translator - from Russian , I think] used the correct term.

Can it be that raher than my wonder inspiring awe, that in fact my wonder is expressing awe?
I think that both are accepted definitions of awesome.
Such that, given the awesome nature of our great and marvellous God, is not the correct response "awesome wonder" that drives us to our knees?
