Today I began work on the OT Reading course I have to take next semester. 157 books to read, remember and inwardly digest before May. I spent a good 15 minutes counting the books and producing a lovely progress chart, organised by category. I also checked the list for shorter essays/articles - only 35 of the total fit into this category. I wasn't brave enough to check how many were huge multi-volume tomes.
Anyway, as and when I come across anything interesting, you can be sure I'll blog about it, since this seems to have become the preferred method of study. However, today I was reading two books on the archaeology of the land of Israel. So I have nothing more to add.
